Piedmont Earthskills Gathering operates as a non-profit under the umbrella of Living Well Earth Stewards, a 501c3 based here in North Carolina. Whie we strive to be fully self-sufficient, we often cannot host PEG without extra financial support. From site costs and insurance, to food and offering free tickets to our worktraders – without whom the event is completely impossible – the costs to host PEG are quite large.

The most important cost of all we are often not even able to pay, and that is compensating our instructors. Many of the instructors that participate in Piedmont Earthskills Gathering are doing so either gratis or for little more than their travel costs and attendance being covered. Our instructors are worth more than that! And your support helps us show them that.

We are offering two donation options for you. The first option is to contribute to a fund that will be distributed fairly to our 20 or so instructors who take part in this year’s event, regardless of PEG’s other expenses. The second is to contribute to the general operating costs of PEG for the year.
